Board your flight from Montreal to Denpasar, Bali, bound for Ngurah Rai International Airport
Day 2: Arrival in Denpasar Ngurah Rai — Ubud (X, X, X) | 35 km / approx. 1h30 drive
Arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, Bali. Complete immigration formalities, collect your luggage, and be welcomed by your French-speaking guide before heading to Ubud, the cultural capital of the island. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Ubud and Surroundings (B, B, D)
This morning, enjoy a walk through the heart of Canang Sari village. Upon arrival, you'll meet your local guide and set off on an approximately 2-hour walk through rice paddies, coconut groves, and small Balinese villages — a perfect opportunity to discover rural Balinese life, its traditions, and enchanting landscapes. At the end of your adventure, enjoy a fresh coconut before continuing north of Ubud for dinner.
Dinner, featuring local specialties (beverages not included), will be a chance to savour delicious Balinese cuisine in an authentic setting.
After dinner, head to one of the region's waterfalls for a refreshing swim in the heart of lush nature — a relaxing experience to close out your day. The centre of Ubud is also known for its Monkey Forest.
We advise against visiting this site as, due to mass tourism, the monkeys have become aggressive. It would be a shame to have your trip disrupted by a bite requiring multiple rabies vaccinations.
Return to Ubud with the rest of the day free. In the evening, dinner (beverages not included) and a well-deserved night's rest.

Day 4: Ubud and Surroundings Ubud – Ayung – Ubud (B, D, X)
For the adventurous, opt for a morning of white-water rafting. Upon arrival, your rafting captain will equip you with the necessary gear and provide a full safety briefing. Get ready to embark on an approximately 2-hour descent through Ubud's lush nature, navigating rapids and calmer stretches alike — an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Balinese jungle, with spectacular scenery as you go with the flow.
⚠️ Note: To reach the river, you will need to climb and descend several hundred steps — wear appropriate footwear.
In the evening, dinner on your own at one of Ubud's many restaurants (very affordable) and a well-deserved night's rest.

After breakfast, depart for the village of Marga, a charming authentic village in the heart of the Tabanan principality, for a morning of immersion in Balinese culture. You'll be welcomed by the villagers and discover Balinese architecture through a visit to a traditional home. Dive into the secrets of local culture through several fun workshops hosted at the home of the village's female leaders, Wayan and Ketut.

Day 6: Munduk – Lovina (B, D, D)
This morning, enjoy a culinary experience. After breakfast, walk approximately 15 minutes to the Munduk village market to select the ingredients for your cooking class. Return to the hotel and step into the kitchen for a cooking class focused on Balinese and Indonesian specialties. Your chef will introduce you to several typical recipes and share unique techniques from Balinese culinary traditions. Then sit down to taste and enjoy a dinner made up of the dishes you prepared.
Continue on to the village of Lovina, located on the north coast of the island. Along the way, discover the hot springs of Banjar village, renowned for their therapeutic properties. Take a moment to relax in these natural warm waters. Check in at Lovina and dinner (beverages not included) at the hotel.

Day 7: Heading Southeast Across the Island Lovina – Singaraja – Kintamani – Candidasa (B, L, D)
After breakfast, depart for the northern capital, Singaraja, and head to the local Seririt market where your guide will treat you to local specialties. Soak up the authentic atmosphere of this typically Balinese market.
Next, visit one of the island's highest waterfalls, the Gitgit waterfall. Enjoy a relaxing moment admiring this natural wonder surrounded by lush vegetation.
After this refreshing stop, continue to the village of Kintamani for a local dinner (beverages not included) with a panoramic view of Mount Batur and its caldera (weather permitting). Then head on to the village of Candidasa, a small fishing village on the edge of the Indian Ocean, near the strait between Bali and its large neighbour, Lombok. Arrive at the hotel in the late afternoon and dinner (beverages not included) at the hotel.

Day 8: Snorkeling Outrigger Excursion and Heading to Nusa Dua Candidasa – Nusa Dua (B, D, D)
After breakfast, set off by outrigger canoe for a morning of snorkeling off the coast of Candidasa. You'll explore several snorkeling spots and may even be lucky enough to spot sea turtles and reef sharks (not guaranteed). Enjoy the richness of Bali's underwater world, with colourful corals and tropical fish.
Return to the hotel late morning to shower, then head to your final destination — the luxurious beach resort of Nusa Dua. Local dinner (beverages not included) en route, arriving in Nusa Dua in the mid-afternoon. Check in and dinner (beverages not included) at the hotel.
