DAY 1&2: Friday January 22 & Saturday January 23, 2027 - Montreal – Denpasar (Bali)
Departure flight Montreal to Denpasar (Bali)
DAY 3: Sunday January 24, 2027 - Arrival in Denpasar - 35km / +/-1h30 drive (X, X, X)
Evening arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar Bali.
Administrative formalities, luggage collection, welcome by your French speaking guide and then drive to Ubud, the cultural capital of the island.
Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4: Monday January 25 , 2027 - Ubud and surroundings (B, L, D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today, a morning walk in the heart of the village of Canang Sari
Upon arrival, you will meet your local guide and then enjoy a beautiful walk of about 2 hours between rice fields, coconut groves and small Balinese villages.
An ideal opportunity to discover Balinese rural life, its traditions and enchanting landscapes.
At the end of these adventures enjoy a fresh coconut before continuing north to Ubud for dinner.
Dinner, which includes local specialties (excluding drinks), will be an opportunity to savor delicious Balinese cuisine in an authentic setting.
After dinner, you will join one of the waterfalls of the region to enjoy beautiful moments of swimming in the heart of lush nature.
A refreshing and relaxing experience to end your day. The center of Ubud is also famous for its monkey forest.
We do not recommend visiting this site because, due to mass tourism, monkeys have become aggressive there. It would be a shame to ruin your trip because of a bite requiring several rabies vaccines.
You will have the opportunity to visit another monkey forest in its natural state and much less frequented than Ubud.
Return to Ubud and rest of the day off.
In the evening, dinner (excluding drinks) and a well-deserved night's rest.
DAY 5: Tuesday January 26 - Ubud Free day Ubud (B, X, X)
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day to discover the charming and typical Ubud.
Option ($) for adventurers, opt for a morning rafting.
Upon arrival, you will meet your rafting captain who will equip you with the necessary equipment and give you a full briefing on safety instructions.
Then get ready to embark on a descent of about 2 hours through the lush nature of Ubud, between rapids and quieter passages. An unforgettable experience in the heart of the Balinese jungle, where you can admire spectacular landscapes while letting yourself be carried away by the waves.
⚠️ Warning: To access the river, you will have to go up and down several hundred steps, so remember to wear suitable shoes.
Evening free dinner in one of the many restaurants in Ubud ( not expensive at all ) and a well-deserved night's rest.
What to expect and items to bring
• For Rafting:
- Spare clothes and towel.
- Water shoes or non-slip sandals.
- Ecological sunscreen and natural repellent against insects.
• For the Walk:
- Comfortable walking shoes.
- Hat or cap and sunglasses.

DAY 6: Wednesday January 27, 2027 - Cultural immersion and heading to the North of the island (B, L ,D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast, departure to the village of Marga, a small authentic village in the heart of the principality of Tabanan, to enjoy a morning of immersion in Balinese culture.
You will be welcomed by the inhabitants of the village and discover Balinese architecture by visiting a traditional house. You will dive into the secrets of local culture through several fun workshops offered within the house of the village chiefs, Wayan and Ketut.
Proposed Activities (Non-exhaustive)
• Introduction to Sanskrit: Try reading Sanskrit, the sacred language of ancient India.
• Making Offerings and Coconut Oil: Learn how to make traditional offerings and discover the process of making coconut oil.
• Traditional Agriculture: Learn about the work of farmers with a
demonstration of coconut picking and ancestral plowing carried out by oxen
• And much more…
You will also enjoy a typical Balinese dinner with a nice view of the rice fields or in the heart of a traditional Balinese house.
Notes:
• Fun workshops can be shared with other travelers.
• Farmers' work includes ancestral plowing by cattle.
The animals are well treated by their master, but this activity can be considered unethical by some.
We ask for your indulgence, as this is totally part of the local culture.
Then you will visit one of the highest waterfalls on the island, the
Gitgit waterfall. Enjoy beautiful moments of relaxation by admiring this natural wonder surrounded by lush vegetation.
After this refreshing break, you will continue your drive to the village of Kintamani to enjoy a local dinner (excluding drinks) with a panoramic view of Mount Batur and its caldera (depending on the weather).
Then continue to the village of Candidasa, a small fishing village located on the edge of theIndian Ocean, near the strait between Bali and its large neighbor, Lombok.
Arrival at the end of the day and dinner (excluding drinks) at the hotel. Comfort of the Journey: The road today will be the longest, with mountain roads. mall stops to stretch your legs, rest or admire the incredible landscapes.
What to bring:
• Comfortable walking shoes for visiting the waterfall.
• Swimsuit and towel if you want to cool off near the waterfall.
• Sun protection: hat, sunglasses, ecological sunscreen.
• Natural repellent against insects.
DAY 7: Thursday January 28, 2027 - Lovina (B, L, D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today, Culinary morning.
Today it's time in the kitchen for a class around Balinese and Indonesian specialties. Your chef will introduce you to
several typical recipes and will also show you several unique techniques of Balinese traditions.
Then tasting and dinner composed of the dishes concocted during the cooking class.
Then continue to the village of Lovina located on the north coast of the island. Along the way, we'll discover the thermal springs of the village of Banjar, renowned for their therapeutic virtues.
Enjoy a moment of relaxation in these warm natural waters.
Return to Lovina and dinner (excluding drinks) at the hotel.
AY 8: Friday January 29, 2027 - Drive to the southeast of Lovina Island – Singaraja – Kintamani – Candidasa (B, D, S)
Breakfast at the hotel.
After your breakfast, depart to the capital of the North, Singaraja, to reach the local market of Seririt.
Soak up the authentic atmosphere of this typical Balinese market.
Next, we'll visit one of the highest waterfalls on the island, the Gitgit Waterfall.
Enjoy beautiful moments of relaxation admiring this natural wonder surrounded by lush vegetation.
After this refreshing break, you will continue your drive to the village of Kintamani to enjoy a local dinner
(excluding drinks) with a panoramic view of Mount Batur and its caldera (depending on the weather).

DAY 9: Saturday January 30, 2027 Snorkeling getaway in a pirogue and heading to Nusa Dua - Candidasa – Nusa Dua (B,L,D)
After your breakfast, departure in an outrigger canoe to enjoy a morning of snorkeling or a walk off the coast of Candidasa. (weather permitting)
You'll discover several snorkeling spots and maybe even be lucky enough to spot turtles and reef sharks (not guaranteed).
Enjoy the richness of the Balinese seabed, between colorful corals and tropical fish. Local dinner (excluding drinks), visit temples,
along the way and arrive in Nusa Dua in the early evening.

Tip for responsible snorkeling:
Respect for Marine Life: Do not touch corals or marine animals. Corals are fragile and take years to develop.
Don't Pick Up Anything: Don't bring memories from the seabed.
Leave shells and other treasures in their place to preserve the ecosystem.
Use Ecological Sunscreen: Classic sunscreens can be harmful to
coral reefs. Choose a biodegradable sunscreen.
Avoid feeding fish: This can disrupt their natural diet and ecosystem balance. Keep your distance: Observe the marine fauna without approaching it too closely so as not to stress or disturb it.
What to to bring:
• Swimsuit and towel.
• Snorkeling equipment if you prefer to use yours (mask, snorkel, fins).
• Sun protection: hat, sunglasses, biodegradable sunscreen if
possible.
• T-shirt to protect your skin without using too much sunscreen.
DAY 10: Sunday January 31, 2027 -Sea, beach and relaxation Nusa Dua (B, X, X)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Free days to enjoy the setting of your hotel, rest, enjoy the beach or reach the Bali collection
shopping center on foot and the village of Benoa, renowned for its water activities.
Lunch and dinner on your own and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 11: Monday February 01, 2027 – Departure day, Sampai jumpa lagi! Nusa Dua –Ngurah Rai airport end of day (B, X, X)
Breakfast at the hotel. All day free, beach, swimming pool etc... in the early evening departure to the airport.
Check-out is at noon. Possibility to make a late check-out for an extra fee to be paid on site.
Depending on your departure time, you can leave your luggage at the reception and enjoy the surroundings
and setting of your hotel while waiting for your departure time.
The flight is at 21:40 and the airport is 30 minutes away.

Life is not expensive in Bali. For example, a dish like a tuna steak or other in tourist restaurants costs no more than $10 Canadian.
