Day 1: Montreal — Departure Flight to Tanzania / Kilimanjaro Airport
Board your flight from Montreal to Tanzania, bound for Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Day 2: Kilimanjaro Airport — Arusha
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, our representative will welcome you and drive you to your hotel for your first evening in Tanzania. Arusha is an important international diplomatic center, considered the capital of the East African Community. Surrounded by some of Africa's most famous landscapes and national parks, it sits at the foot of Mount Meru on the eastern edge of the Great Rift Valley, enjoying a mild climate year-round.
The road transfer from Kilimanjaro International Airport to your lodge takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes — sit back and enjoy the drive through the city suburbs before arriving at your lodge for a well-deserved night's rest.

Day 3: Arusha — Tarangire National Park — Karatu
Early this morning you will depart with your private driver-guide to Tarangire National Park, one of northern Tanzania's most important parks, approximately 2 hours from Arusha. You'll spend a full day on safari in a 4x4 with open roof, exploring this magnificent nature reserve surrounding the Tarangire River valley — home to Africa's most spectacular baobab trees. The savanna, bush, and seasonal swamps offer breathtaking scenery.
Your driver will stop during the safari for a picnic lunch in the park. Covering nearly 2,600 km² (roughly the size of Luxembourg), Tarangire is considered one of the best places in East Africa to observe elephants up close, including large herds with calves. You'll also have the chance to spot Maasai giraffes, gazelles, antelopes, buffalo, wildebeest, lions, leopards, baboons, and over 550 bird species.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area — Ngorongoro Crater — Karatu
Today you depart for a full day safari in the famous Ngorongoro Crater. A true natural wildlife sanctuary, you'll find almost all of East Africa's animals here, including the rare black rhinoceros. Expect an array of zebras, wildebeest, and buffalo. The crater shelters over 25,000 large animals — including 26 endangered black rhinos — as well as the world's densest concentration of lions. Nearly half a million visitors come to witness this incredible place each year.
The descent into the crater is breathtakingly beautiful, with its lush forest and thousands of animals. You'll cross the crater's grassy floor, its forest, and the shores of Lake Magadi and its surrounding marshes. Lunch is served as a picnic in this enchanting setting, where you'll share an exceptional moment surrounded by nature's wonders.
After lunch, you'll continue your afternoon safari with photography opportunities before ascending from the crater floor and returning to your lodge in time for dinner.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Today you'll spend a full day exploring the vast Serengeti plains in search of the "Big Five" and other exceptional Tanzanian wildlife. Rise early for a morning game drive — at sunrise you may encounter animals grazing in the golden light while predators make their final hunts before resting for the day. Sunrise over the Serengeti is a truly unique moment, offering extraordinary photographic opportunities at this magical time of day.
You have the option to return to your lodge for a hot lunch or enjoy a picnic at one of the many sites available throughout the park. After lunch, continue your afternoon safari. Cheetahs can be spotted on the open plains in the early morning and late afternoon — relying on daylight and speed to catch their prey. Groups of hippos wallow in large pools and rivers while crocodiles bask on the banks. Return to camp in time for a sundowner before dinner.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park (Second Full Day)
A second full day on the Serengeti plains, giving you more time to seek out the Big Five and other remarkable wildlife. Rise early again for the dawn game drive — predators are still active at sunrise and the light is unmatched for photography. Choose between a hot lunch at camp or a packed picnic at one of the park's scenic sites.
The afternoon safari continues across the open grasslands. Watch for cheetahs hunting, hippo pods in the rivers, and crocodiles sunning on the banks. Return to your tented camp in time to enjoy an aperitif as the sun sets over the Serengeti before your evening meal.

Today we make our way to Karatu. The afternoon is yours to rest, recover, and enjoy a leisurely dinner at your lodge.

Day 8: Lake Manyara National Park
Today we explore the beautiful and remarkably diverse Lake Manyara National Park by 4x4. Situated in northern Tanzania's Great Rift Valley, southeast of the Ngorongoro massif, the park's exceptional variety of habitats supports an extraordinary range of wildlife. The rainforest is home to one of the world's highest concentrations of primates — baboons roam in colonies of several hundred, while green and blue monkeys are abundant throughout the canopy. The park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions and vast flocks of flamingos along the lakeshore.

Your final safari day begins with a sensory farewell at a working coffee plantation on the slopes bordering the Ngorongoro crater rim. Spread across 600 hectares and shaded by majestic acacia trees, the farm borders Ngorongoro National Park directly — a setting as rich as the coffee it produces.
Accompanied by a passionate local guide, you'll discover the full journey from bean to cup: cultivation, harvesting, drying, roasting, and preparation, concluding with a tasting of freshly brewed coffee in an authentic artisanal setting.
